Iran horror features Shahab Hosseini

Globally acclaimed Iranian actor Shahab Hosseini wraps up shooting for horror film featuring his son.

The scary flick ‘Sheen’ directed by Meysam Kazazi finished shooting after 45 days of hard work.

According to a media report, the film features famous Iranian actors such as Hosseini and Jamshid Hashempour.

The report also leaked the juicy detail that Hosseini’s son Amir-Ali plays a role in the drama.

Shahab Hosseini has won the best actor award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for his role in Asghar Farhadi’s ‘The Salesman’.

His costar in ‘Sheen’, veteran Iranian actor Hashempour, has appeared in numerous movies, including ‘Mother’ (1989), ‘The Devoted’ (1991), ‘Swan Song’ (2000), ‘Journey to Tomorrow’ (2001), ‘Poisonous Mushroom’ (2001), ‘The Fifth Reaction’ (2002),  ‘My Father’s Farm’ (2003), ‘The Stranger’ (2012), ‘Hush! Girls Don’t Scream’ (2013), ‘Kalashnikov’ (2013) and ‘The Days of Love and Betrayal’ (2013).

‘Testimony for God’ (2007) earned Hashempour a nomination for the Best Actor Crystal Simorgh from the Fajr International Film Festival.
